April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse
In case you missed it, Mexico is where today’s solar eclipse comes ashore in Mazatlan, Sinaloa before sweeping across the country into Texas, across the Eastern USA, and ending in eastern Canada.
The prehispanic cultures of Mexico, most notably the Maya, tracked the movements of the sun, moon, and stars, and could predict and assign meaning to eclipses long before their occurrence.
